Dear Amazing Laguna Road Families,

It is an incredible honor to join the Laguna Road community as your principal. As a longtime Fullerton resident, educator, and parent, stepping into this role in a community I have called home for more than two decades is especially meaningful to me. I have spent 23 years serving students and families in the Fullerton School District, first as a classroom teacher and most recently in district leadership. My years in the classroom continue to shape how I lead and how I think about what is best for students. I believe deeply in creating schools where students feel known, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

I am joining Laguna Road at a unique time, with the school year already well underway. I recognize and appreciate the strong foundation, traditions, and systems that are already in place because of the dedication of our staff, students, families, and previous leadership. My first priority is to listen, learn, and build relationships while working alongside our staff and community to continue moving Laguna Road forward.

One of the things I already know about Laguna Road is that this is a community that cares deeply about its children. I look forward to getting to know our students, spending time in classrooms, connecting with our staff, and meeting the families who make this school such a special place. I also look forward to partnering with our PTA, SOS, and the many parent volunteers who give so generously of their time and talents.

Most of all, I want every child who walks through our doors to know that they belong here, that we believe in them, and that there are adults on this campus committed to helping them thrive. That work is something we do together.
