The health and wellness of our students, staff, and community is a top priority. In order to keep our school community safe from unwelcome viruses, please follow these important reminders: (1) If your child has flu-like symptoms, including a fever, they need to stay home until they are fever-free without medication for at least 24 hours (2) Wash hands for 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer frequently (3) Cough into elbow and keep hands away from face (eyes, nose, mouth). (4) Per Orange County Health Agency (OCHA), if you or your family members have been to China, South Korea, Iran, Japan, or Italy, you must avoid contact with others and follow the self-quarantine recommendations for at least 14 days. More information in multiple languages is provided on the OCHA website. Our staff will be diligently sanitizing frequently used areas (door knobs/handles, desks, school supplies, lunch tables) and providing hand sanitizers in all common areas. If you would like to donate hand sanitizers to your classroom, please send them with your child. You can find more information on minimizing the spread of germs on the CDC website and flu prevention brochure. Thank you for your support in teaching healthy habits to our students.
