Dear Laguna Road Families,
Thank you for another amazing week. We had a great turn out with our final PTA meetings, and our STEAM Night was a huge success. Students loved going room to room to make slime, practice robotics, learn coding basics, fly drones, theater, art, dance, and more. We look forward to this event next year!
We have just about finished our state testing. Our students have shown confidence, focus, and determination. Our testing make-ups will occur this week for students who need more time or were absent for any testing sessions.
Korean Dual Language Meetings
There are three upcoming parent Korean Dual Language meetings. The first one is tomorrow, Monday, May 16th at 6:00pm. This meeting is intended for current Laguna Road families who would like to hear more about Korean Dual Language. Join the Ed. Services team and me in Room 25, the big portable near the playground.
On Wednesday, May 18th and Monday, May 23rd there will be two additional meetings for any parent at Laguna or in the community who is interested in Korean Dual Language. Feel free to share the information with interested friends and family. If you know someone who would like to enroll in our first Dual Language kindergarten class, tell them to call the Laguna Road office.
Coffee with the Principal
Join me on Friday, May 27th for the last Coffee with the Principal of the year. This will be a time to connect with fellow parents, reflect on the year, and talk about the new school year. Korean translation will be available. Join me in Room 25 at 8:45am on Friday, May 27th.
