English Learner Advisory Committee

• The development of a detailed school plan for English Learners submitted to the governing board, or School Site Council
• Program and services for EL students
• The development of the school's needs assessment
• Administration of the school's language census
• Efforts to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance
  
   

ELAC is required for schools with an enrollment of 21 or more English Learners (EL).
